IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING OPENED PRODUCTS

Due to the nature of nutritional supplements and our commitment to customer health and safety, House of Evolution Nutrition CANNOT accept returns on any product that has been opened, used, or tampered with in any way.

This policy exists to protect all customers from potential contamination, adulteration, or tampering. No exceptions will be made to this rule.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be UNOPENED and in its original, factory-sealed condition
  • The product must be in its original packaging with all labels, seals, and safety shrink wrap fully intact
  • The return request must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided
  • The product must not be damaged due to customer mishandling or improper storage

Returns that do not meet ALL of the above conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable under all circumstances:

  • Any product that has been opened, partially used, or had its seal broken
  • Products that have been removed from their original packaging
  • Items marked as “Final Sale,” “Non-Returnable,” or “Clearance” at the time of purchase
  • Free gifts, promotional items, or bonus products included with an order
  • Products purchased through unauthorized third-party retailers or resellers
  • Digital products, meal plans, or downloadable content
  • Products that have been damaged by the customer due to improper storage or handling
  • Products returned after the 30-day return window has expired

We strongly encourage customers to review product descriptions, ingredient lists, and supplement facts before purchasing to ensure the product is right for you.

3. Why We Cannot Accept Open Products

We understand this policy may be stricter than some retailers. Here is why this rule exists and why we stand firmly behind it:

3.1 Customer Safety

Once a nutritional supplement container is opened, we have no way to verify that the product has not been tampered with, contaminated, or altered. Accepting open products could put future customers at risk, and we are unwilling to compromise on this.

3.2 Regulatory Compliance

The dietary supplement industry is subject to strict quality and safety regulations. Reselling returned, opened products is prohibited under applicable federal guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

3.3 Product Integrity

Exposure to air, moisture, and varying temperatures after opening can degrade the efficacy and safety profile of supplements. We cannot guarantee the quality of a product once it has been opened outside of our controlled environment.

4. Damaged or Defective Products

We take quality control seriously. If you receive a product that is damaged during shipping or arrives defective, we will make it right. Please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at [email protected]
  2. Include your order number and a clear description of the damage or defect
  3. Attach photos clearly showing the damage or defect
  4. Our team will review your claim and respond within 2 business days

Approved claims for damaged or defective products will receive, at our discretion: a full replacement of the product, store credit, or a refund to the original payment method. We do not require damaged products to be returned in most cases.

5. Wrong Item Received

If you receive an item that is different from what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange for the correct item to be shipped to you at no additional cost and will provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item. Incorrect items must be returned unopened and in their original condition.

6. How to Initiate a Return

To begin the return process for an eligible item, please take the following steps:

  1. Email us at [email protected] with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and your reason for returning.
  2. Our customer service team will review your request and respond within 2 business days with approval or denial and further instructions.
  3. If approved, securely package the item(s) and ship them to the return address provided in our response email. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of your refund approval within 3 business days.

Do NOT send returns to our address without first receiving written approval. Unapproved returns will not be processed and will not be eligible for a refund.

7. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged, or defective product), the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend shipping returns with tracking and insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.

8. Refund Processing

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification confirming whether your refund has been approved or denied.

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
  • Credit card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer
  • Store credit refunds are applied immediately upon approval
  • Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our error

9. Exchanges

We do not offer direct product exchanges. If you would like a different product, please initiate a return for the eligible unopened item (subject to this policy) and place a new order for the desired product. This ensures the fastest processing time and product availability.

10. Subscription Orders

For customers enrolled in our subscription program, the same return policy applies. If you wish to cancel a subscription order before it ships, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled billing date. Once a subscription order has been processed and shipped, it is subject to the standard return policy outlined in this document.

11. Fraudulent Returns

House of Evolution Nutrition reserves the right to refuse returns and refunds, and to permanently ban customers from future purchases, if we identify any of the following:

  • Attempts to return opened, used, or tampered products as sealed
  • Submission of false or misleading information in a return request
  • Patterns of abuse of our return policy
  • Fraudulent claims of damage, defect, or non-delivery

We take return fraud seriously and may report fraudulent activity to applicable law enforcement authorities.
